LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Elizabethtown police aren't kidding around as they experience a case of déjà vu.
The department is trying to catch a runaway goat.
Police said in a Facebook post the department has received multiple calls over the past few weeks about a goat on South Dixie, near the Hardin County Detention Center.
When officers try to catch up with the goat, it runs away. The department said "he's giving major Houdini Jr. vibes," referencing a famous goat that lived along Interstate 65 for years until he fractured his leg and was taken to a wildlife sanctuary.
Elizabethtown police are asking anybody who knows where the goat belongs to call them so he can make it home safe and sound.
