LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville program is helping residents navigate the new college aid application process.
KentuckianaWorks College Access Center is offering help with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to anyone who needs it.
The deadline to submit the application is June 30, 2024, but prospective students in Kentucky are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible to be eligible for the maximum amount of financial aid.
“Changes with the FAFSA always lead to new questions and confusion, especially early on,” said Kim Harrison, Executive Director of the College Access Center in a news release. “We guide clients through each step and make sure they have the resources they need to be successful.”
In addition to offering FAFSA assistance, the College Access Center also helps clients complete their enrollment applications, search for scholarships, select the right school and program and learn about the job market.
The College Access Center is located at 642 S. 4th St. on the 3rd Floor. Call (502) 584-0475 or visit KentuckianaWorks.org/kcac to find walk-in hours, make an appointment, and learn more. All its services and support are free of charge.
