LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hardin County Schools will operate on NTI for the remainder of the week due to illnesses.
Hardin County Schools said illnesses are taking a toll on student and staff attendance, according to a news release Wednesday. Individual schools will provide NTI plans and strategies for students.
"We know that NTI is not what anyone desires," Hardin County Schools Superintendent Teresa Morgan said in a news release. "However, this will allow our custodial staff to provide much deeper clearing and sanitizing in our school buildings. This will also provide an opportunity for those who do not feel well to hopefully get better."
The school district's nutrition staff will provide meals at all schools for students only. Families can pick up Thursday's lunch and Friday's breakfast at schools on Thursday and Friday's lunch on Friday. Elementary school lunch pick up goes from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. both days. Middle school and high school meals are available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days.
Hardin County Schools plans to return to normal schedule Feb. 10.Â
