LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A semi-rollover crash shut down the ramp from Interstate 264 eastbound to Interstate 71 northbound for several hours Tuesday morning.
According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision involving a commercial vehicle around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.
A semi-truck was traveling eastbound from Interstate 264 and had exited onto Interstate 71 northbound when the truck overturned and rolled over.
Emergency crews arrived within minutes, according to Ellis.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the cab, was not injured.
The roadway opened back up around 6:30 a.m.
LMPD’s Eighth Division is handling this investigation.
