LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The sound of jazz music filled the air in Old Louisville on Sunday afternoon.
Jazz in Central Park brought the soulful sounds of New Orleans to Louisville. The free annual event featured artists Carley Johnson, Jerry Tolson and Orchestra and the Urban Jazz Coalition.
There were also local vendors selling items.
The event also featured Ruben Studdard, who was the winner of American Idol's second season.
"It is one of the biggest we've ever had," said Louisville Metro Councilman Phillip Baker (D-6). "So we have a national act this year and so it's just amazing to see all the beautiful faces, all the diversity and everybody in Louisville just coming together for a good time."
WDRB's Krystal Goodner co-hosted the event.
