LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Marty Pollio is recovering after having emergency surgery.
In a message on social media, Pollio said he's recovering after having back surgery this week.
He said as he recovers, he may not be as visible in the school district over the next several weeks so he can focus on his rehabilitation.
Pollio promises he will still be in "continuous contact" with his leadership team during his recovery.
