The Jefferson County Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday to reappoint Superintendent Marty Pollio, who started as acting superintendent in 2017, and enter contract negotiations.
The superintendent said as he recovers, he may not be as visible in the school district over the next several weeks so he can focus on his rehabilitation.
