LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keeneland returns to racing Monday after being forced to reschedule its opening days due to severe weather and significant rainfall last week.
The horse racing track in Lexington was originally scheduled to host opening race days April 4. But those races were rescheduled to Monday.
Sunday was opening day of the Spring Meet.Ā
The race card includes the $750,000 Central Bank Ashland. It will be held Monday. The $1.25 million Toyota Blue Grass was rescheduled to Tuesday.
The 15-day Spring Meet continues through April 25. First post during the Spring Meet starts at 1 p.m., except on closing day when the first race is at 12:30 p.m.
