LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Kentucky State Fair is in full swing, and what better way to celebrate than with giant fruits and vegetables!
Saturday, the largest watermelon and pumpkin were crowned at America's largest fair under one roof.
Frank Mudd, of Meade County, took the 1st place title with his watermelon, weighing in at 233.2 pounds.
Dwight Stone, of Floyd County, clinched the No. 1 spot with his gigantic gourd weighting in at 1,133 pounds!
You can check both of them out at the fair until Aug. 25.
WDRB Day at the fair is Friday, Aug. 23, so come out and say hi!
