LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some special children met some former college football stars during an exclusive trip.
Three children part of Kosair Kids recently returned from a trip to Dallas for the East-West Shrine Bowl. They got to deliver jerseys to University of Louisville quarterback Jack Plummer, University of Kentucky quarterback Devin Leary and Western Kentucky University quarterback Austin Reed.
The three children met the quarterbacks and also received a customized football helmet.
"It was really cool," said Addie Childers, a Kosair Kid. "Telling my friends and family, all about it, coming home and showing them the helmet. It's awesome."
