LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A southern Indiana bakery and café is raising money for the family of a Floyd Central High School student who died.
The fundraiser is happening this weekend, May 10-11, at Milo's Boba and Bakery to honor the life of Noah Maddox, who drowned in a lake in the Highland Lakes subdivision on April 26.
The bakery, located at 154 East Main Street in downtown New Albany, will be donating it's profits directly to Noah's family.
Milo's said in a social media post that Noah was one of its regular customers, and that many staff had the pleasure of getting to know him. The bakery said he always brought a smile to their faces.
"Noah is kind, genuine and supportive. Noah isn’t just a typical customer to our store," Milo's said in the post. "He was someone I was excited to chat with in the lobby, and when I would see him come in, I was excited to give him updates on us."
