LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Commonwealth’s Attorney Gerina D. Whethers, announced Tuesday that the well-known message “It’s 10 p.m. — do you know where your children are?” will return to local TV starting Dec. 15.
The public service announcement is part of a safety push that will run on all four major Louisville stations. WDRB, which introduced its own 10 p.m. check-in reminder earlier this year, will continue airing it as the joint campaign rolls out.
Whethers said the goal is to remind parents to check in at night and to encourage the community to support one another.
“Our city has a responsibility to foster a culture of accountability and support for our children,” Whethers said in a news release. “We’re beginning our public push with a simple reminder to check on your kids at night.”
The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office said it hopes the message becomes a nightly routine for families throughout Louisville.
