LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 130 unclaimed vehicles are now up for grabs as Louisville Metro Police opens its latest online auction.

LMPD said state law requires the department to auction off vehicles left sitting at the city’s impound lot for more than 45 days.

Once a car is considered abandoned, it’s added to the next public sale.

This round includes a wide mix: cars, trucks, a small trailer — even a boat, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

LMPD partners with Auctions ASAP to run the online bidding, which is already underway. The auction closes Sunday at 7 p.m.

People can search the full list of vehicles, photos and bidding details online.
