Louisville staffing agency to lay off more than 200 employees

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --A temporary staffing agency is laying off more than 200 employees. 

Elite Staffing, which assigns temporary workers to the McKesson Corporation factory in Shepherdsville, is laying off 225 temporary workers. 

The layoff was unexpected, and Elite did not have advance notice of the decision, according to a notice.  

All of the affected employees were working as material handlers.
