LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died after crashing his motorcycle into a truck in Louisville's Clifton neighborhood Friday evening.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded on the crash at the intersection of Stoll and Frankfort avenues just before 7 p.m.
Police said a pickup truck was attempting a left turn from northbound Stoll Avenue onto westbound Frankfort Avenue which it crashed into a motorcycle that was traveling east on Frankfort Avenue.
A man driving the motorcycle was taken to UofL Hospital and died. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Saturday that Layne Todd, 39, died of blunt force trauma just after 7:30 p.m.
The driver of the pickup truck wasn't injured.
The crash is under investigation.
