LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died in a single-vehicle crash near Okolona on Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a crash in the 4700 block of Glen Rose Road, near Preston Highway and Interstate 265, around 10:30 a.m.
Police said a man was driving on the road in a passenger van when left the roadway for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree head-on.
The man, who hasn't been identified, was the only person in the van. Police said the man, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
