LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man riding a bike was hit and killed by a semi Saturday evening.
St. Matthews Police Chief Barry Wilkerson said a report of a man hit by a semi on Westport Road near Trinity High School came in at 5 p.m. The man died on the scene.
It's unknown at this time why he was hit by the semi, according to police.Â
The driver of the semi remained on the scene.
