LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's most famous dog teamed up with one of its most celebrated basketball players for a new bourbon.
Mr. and Mrs. Bourbon Company — former Louisville men's basketball national champion Russ Smith's new bourbon brand — announced a second release to raise funds for EthanAlmighty's Blessings.
It will be called Ethan's Batch, Series 2.0. The release is set for Saturday, and there will be about 500 bottles.
All the proceeds will go to EthanAlmighty's nonprofit, which helps animals in need of care. The dog, named Ethan, was found outside the Kentucky Humane Society several years ago abandoned and emaciated. People across the country watched his recovery.
