LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Pickleball-mania has taken over Riverview Park in Louisville.
Four new pickleball courts opened to players Monday at the park on Greenwood Road.
Waterfront Park and Metro Council teamed up to pay for the project.
One player who usually drives 15 miles or more to play said he can now enjoy his favorite game just a few minutes from home.
"It's a good sport for all ages, that's what I like about it," Dave Martin said.
The courts also have lighting. They'll be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day.
