LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The left lane of eastbound Interstate 64 is closed at Grinstead Drive (mile point 8.0) due to expansion joint damage.

That's according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The lane closure is at the Lexington Road overpass just before the Cochran Hill Tunnels. 

KYTC will assess the damage and making repairs. 

The lane closure will remain in place until repairs are finished, but there's no word yet on how long those repairs will take.
