LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Papa Johns International Inc. cut off a slice of its Louisville headquarters, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.

According to a deed filed with the Jefferson County Clerk's Office, the multibillion dollar pizza company sold its property at 2001 Papa Johns Blvd. for $3.91 million.

The 3.7-acre site sits across from the campus’ main building at 2002 Papa Johns Blvd., which Papa Johns still owns.

The buyers, Blue Rose Taylorsville LLC and BVI Taylor LLC, list Seth Edens and Justin Baker as registered agents. Both are partners at Louisville-based TRIO Commercial Property Group.

The property includes a roughly 40,000-square-foot building built in 1995 that is home to marketing and digital media company 1Vision.

Papa Johns previously sold its subsidiary, Preferred Marketing Solutions, to 1Vision, which will continue operating out of the building.

It’s unclear why Papa Johns decided to sell the property and the company declined to comment.

The sale comes nearly two years after Papa Johns announced it would remain the sole owner of its Louisville campus and quality control center. They put their headquarters on the market in early 2023, but ultimately decided to keep the property — protecting more than 550 jobs in the process.

Papa Johns reported about $2.1 billion in revenue in 2025, flat compared to the year before, and announced plans to close about 300 underperforming North American stores by 2027 as part of a broader turnaround strategy.
