LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Part of Interstate 264 West at Brownsboro Road is set to close Monday and Tuesday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. both nights. Traffic will be detoured off the interstate at Exit 22, which is Brownsboro Road.

On Wednesday and Thursday nights, crews will switch to the eastbound side of the Watterson Expressway. Traffic will be diverted off the interstate at Exit 22.Ā 

On Thursday and Friday nights, I-264 East traffic will be detoured at Exit 22, cross Brownsboro Road and rejoin the interstate via a ramp on the opposite side of the existing interchange.

This is all part of the $130 million improvement project of I-264 and Brownsboro Road to increase safety and improve mobility. The project is expected to be finished by fall 2027.Ā
