LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating a workplace incident near the main post office on Gardiner Lane.
The department said officers were called to the scene on a report that a person had been hit by a vehicle around 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20.
When police arrived, they found a man who had been hit behind the fence line of a private property near the main post office.
Employees told WDRB the crash happened at one of the docks at the post office. EMS took the victim to University of Louisville Hospital, but LMPD has not yet responded to a request for information on the person's condition.
The U.S. Postal Service is not commenting on the incident.
