LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- River Road will soon close again for construction.
River Road fully reopened earlier this month while the Louisville Water Company took a break from pipe work. But on Tuesday, Sept. 2, construction will resume on new water line installation.
Crews will begin work near Glenview Avenue and Lime Kiln Lane and detour signs will be in place.
That section is expected to be finished in early November.
The water company hopes to finish all of the work along River Road by next summer.
Meanwhile, Transylvania Avenue near Mason Boulevard is closed this week as work continues there.
