SILVER CREEK, Ind. (WDRB) -- It was a nice way to spend a beautiful day. Dozens of people turned out Saturday morning for the Silvercreek Township Park Easter egg hunt.
Kids spent the morning looking for eggs and prizes, and of course the best part is seeing the Easter bunny.
While the hunt takes place in just one morning, the preparation for the event takes all year.
"We are pretty thrifty. we go out after easter of this year we purchase prices at 70 percent or better whatever we can get them at," trustee Billy Ramser said "we store them for the year. we are on a budget but we give the kids whatever we can get for their money."
Organizers say they've been doing this for six years, but had the best turnout Saturday.
