LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man was found dead in an overturned vehicle, but police are not certain when the crash happened.
In a news release Monday, the Floyd County Sheriff's Office said the Greenville Fire Department was called to U.S. 150 near Buck Creek Road on Sunday afternoon on a report of an overturned vehicle.
When firefighters arrived, they found a 2008 BMW sedan that had left the roadway, gone down an embankment, overturned and hit several trees. The driver was killed in the crash.
The sheriff's office identified the man as Michael Dunn, 49, of Palmyra.
The FCSO said it is not known when the crash happened because no witnesses called it in. The sheriff's office said it appeared the vehicle had been there for some time.
An investigation continues. Additional information may be released as it becomes available.
