LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bowles Mattress Company in Jeffersonville, Indiana, celebrated 50 years in business Thursday.
The store was founded in 1975 and has grown to supply mattresses across Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
It also supplies signature mattresses for the West Baden Resort, the French Lick Resort Hotel and Indiana state parks.
The company threw an anniversary party at its factory headquarters in Jeffersonville to honor the special milestone.
"It's quite an accomplishment from the standpoint of the integrity of the company and the products that we make, but it touches so many people's lives," Bowles Mattress President Scott Armstrong said.
