LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — TARC riders are getting a preview of major changes taking effect this weekend.

TARC hosted an open house Tuesday evening at United Crescent Hill Ministries, giving passengers a chance to learn more about what’s coming Aug. 2.

The revamped service will include new routes and schedules, adjustments to some bus stops and 15-minute service along key corridors.

All TARC route numbers will also change, so riders should check their routes before the new system launches.

Two more open houses are planned this week for passengers who want to ask questions or get familiar with the changes.

The next meeting is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shively City Hall. The final meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Union Station downtown.

Riders can find updated route information, schedules and other details about the changes on TARC’s website.
