LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Parks and Recreation teamed up with TreesLouisville to host its very own Tree Fest today.
The free arbor day celebration was held at Petersburg Park on East Indian Trail Saturday afternoon.
Volunteers planted more than 100 trees.
There were also lots of nature activities, green community booths and live music. More than 500 trees were also given away to those who stopped by.
