Waterfront Park in Louisville nominated for Best Riverwalk in US

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville was nominated for the best river walk in the U.S. for the fifth straight year.

Waterfront Park was selected for the Best Riverwalk by USA Today's 2025 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

Last year, Waterfront Park placed third in the national competition behind Smale Riverfront Park in Cincinnati and Woldenberg Riverfront Park in New Orleans.

"I am so proud to see our waterfront nominated once again for Best Riverwalk by the editors of USA Today’s 10Best," Deborah Bilitski, president and executive director of Waterfront Park, said in a news release. "This recognition speaks to our continued dedication to excellence and to further connecting our community to the waterfront. Please help us secure the #1 Best Riverwalk spot with your vote."

Waterfront Park has more than 2.4 million visitors each year, according to a news release.
