LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — After weeks of cycling across the country, members of Bike4Alz, a group of Western Kentucky University fraternity brothers, have completed their cross-country ride to raise money for Alzheimer's research.

About a dozen students rode into Virginia Beach on Thursday, marking the end of their journey after setting out from San Francisco earlier this summer.

The ride brought the cyclists through several states, including Kentucky, where they stopped in Louisville a few weeks ago.

This year's Bike4Alz ride has raised more than $100,000 to support Alzheimer's research, with donations continuing to come in.

Organizers said anyone who would like to contribute can still donate through the group's website.
