The shooting took place at about 1 p.m. in the 2400 block of Nichols View Court. That's near Jacob Elementary School.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner, 30-year-old Jo'Gori Harris Jr. died on scene in the 2400 block of Nichols View Court.Â
He's been initially charged with murder and wanton endangerment.
