The lanes will close the evening of Friday, Nov. 7, as crews continue work on a bridge joint replacement project.
The project is entering Phase Four with plans to put traffic back in place east and westbound by spring.
The right lane of Interstate 64 West, on the top deck of the bridge, heading into Indiana will close at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8.
The entire bridge was closed July 27 for emergency repairs after crews found a problem with a pier that supports the top deck on the Kentucky side.
Bridge renewal project officials said "added safety measures and weather delays" are delaying the scheduled Aug. 7 reopening.
This is the second time this month the lane on the top deck of the bridge has been closed for immediate repair.
Officials said crews found that a "component of the bridge deck" was in need of immediate repair before cars could cross the bridge on the top deck.
An overnight lane closure began Wednesday on Interstate 64 West, the left lane on the lower deck of the bridge. It will reopen Thursday at 6 a.m.
This Thursday, June 22, crews will be implementing lane closures for guardrail repair.
The I-64 East entrance ramp from West Spring Street are also closed, as well as the I-64 East to Interstate 264 eastbound ramp.
