This year's truck theme is still a secret, but includes more than 76,000 LED lights held together with at least 15,000 zip ties.

Nearly 150 fallen firefighters were honored at the National Fire Academy in Maryland on Sunday morning. 

Fourteen firefighters graduated from firefighters recruit school after beginning training last February. 

The stop at the Zoneton Fire Station was to honor fallen Battalion Chief Garry Key who died from COVID-19.

The sign now sits on Preston Highway on the way into Zoneton from Hillview.

The tour started Thursday with a moment to remember Chief Rob Orkies and Battalion Chief Garry Key, who died of complications from COVID-19 last year.

Before he became ill, Battalion Chief Maj. Garry Key was serving as the fire district's acting chief after it lost Chief Rob Orkies to cancer and COVID-19 in December.

Battalion Chief Maj. Garry Key was the longest-serving volunteer member of the Bullitt County fire district. 

Key died Saturday after a monthlong battle with COVID-19.

Key was asked to serve as acting chief of the fire district after Chief Rob Orkies died in December from a battle with COVID-19 and cancer.
