There have been no criminal charges filed against the driver.

A pizza restaurant in Scottsburg held a fundraiser for a family of a Scott County EMS worker who died earlier this month.

The officers were shot during an exchange of gunfire with Anthony Richmond, 29, following a traffic stop in Mitchell just after 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. 

Indiana State Police is investigating after a man was shot by officers in Brown County. 

An Indianapolis man was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in southern Bartholomew County near Columbus on early Monday morning.

The man was taken to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he underwent surgery this morning and was believed to be in critical condition, according to ISP. 

Indiana State Police said Officer Michael Weiler was providing traffic control for a maintenance crew in Jackson County when a semi collided with his car on I-65 Friday morning.
