Records show a Louisville man was locked up for months on charges stemming from a violent crime he didn't commit because he shared the same name as the suspect, a mistake that's drawn scrutiny from the Louisville Office of Inspector General.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 600 block of Baxter Avenue.
A 28-year-old man was arrested after shooting a woman in Okolona on Saturday, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD's Domestic Violence Unit is investigating.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a reported stabbing in the 1400 block of South 4th Street around 11 p.m.
Ellis said her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
His current condition is not known as of Thursday night.
Around 10 p.m. on Sunday, officers from LMPD's 6th Division responded to a report of a shooting in the 5400 block of Ripple Lane.
She was taken to University Hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the teen was shot during an "altercation" with another family member.
