A Louisville man accused of driving drunk and crashing into a TARC bus stop in Shively appeared in court Monday.
Newly obtained 911 calls reveal the moments after a Louisville man crashed into a TARC bus stop May 25 while drunk, killing two women and seriously injuring another.
Shively Police Sgt. Jordan Brown confirmed Wednesday that the woman who was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries had died as a result of the collision.
The crash happened around 9 o'clock Tuesday night in the 12700 block of Dixie Highway, near Blevins Gap Road.
The officers inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital for a broken nose, concussion, and bruising.
According to Louisville Metro Police, Renaldo Gill slammed into Jasmine Simpson's car on the Gene Snyder around 2:30 a.m. on Labor Day.
Renaldo Gill, 34, was arrested at the scene of the crash.
