A man died and a woman is in the hospital after a shooting near the University of Louisville's campus Sunday morning.

MetroSafe dispatchers said the shooting was reported just after 2 a.m. at Broadway and 28th Street in the Parkland neighborhood.

Officers were called to a report of a "person down" in the 5000 block of Poplar Level Road around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Officers were called to the reported shooting in the 6000 block of Bristol Bluffs Circle at 2:50 p.m. Friday.

The shooting happened about 3:15 a.m. Thursday. 

Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded to a shooting on Bardstown Road at the intersection of Baxter Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

The shooting happened on Griffiths Avenue just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
