Louisville Police were called to Manslick Road and Vista John Drive on a reported crash around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
No one else was involved in the crash.
He was transported in critical condition but later died at UofL Hospital.
Police said the motorcyclist, who was the only one involved in the crash, was transported to UofL Hospital in critical condition where he later died.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle when he was hit head-on around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Applegate Lane near Joyce Drive when the person lost control.
The coroner has identified the 54-year-old man who was killed.
Investigation revealed the man was traveling southbound of Blue Lick Road at a high rate of speed where he lost control and hit a minivan.
The Jackson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 66-year-old Kim Kaufman from Vallonia, Indiana.
The man was identified as 42-year-old Michael Mooreland, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
