30-year-old Antjuan D. Murphy faces multiple charges in connection to a fatal shooting in 2020.

Taquita Robinson was found unconscious behind the wheel of a car that was stopped in a turning lane on Buechel Bypass late Saturday afternoon, according to court documents.  

A police report said several people were drinking inside the store when shots were fired from outside.

Elizabethtown Police responded around 2:41 a.m. Saturday to shots fired in the area of East Dixie Avenue between the Town Square and Steel Drive, Officer John Thomas, department spokesperson, said in a statement.

Police said the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Louisville Metro Police said the suspect is a 15-year-old who allegedly had an "exchange of gunfire" with the other suspect near 10th and Chestnut Street on Aug. 7.

Travis Bowman, 43, is charged with attempted murder of a first responder (peace officer) and wanton endangerment of a police officer.

Leonard Pitchford appeared in court Monday. 

A judge entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf, despite Pitchford saying he was "guilty as charged, your honor."

Police noted that the incident happened on a day when hundreds of people were in the park, putting them all in danger.
