LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The United Football League released the full schedule for the Louisville Kings' inaugural season Thursday, with five home games at Lynn Family Stadium.
The Kings kick off the season March 27 at home against the Birmingham Stallions, a game that will air on WDRB.
Former Louisville quarterback Chris Redman will be the head coach for the Kings, the United Football League announced Tuesday. A Louisville native, Redman was a starting quarterback at Louisville for three years. He then moved on to the NFL, where he played for the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons.
"Are you ready, Louisville? We have our schedule set, and we are kicking off the UFL season with our game against the Birmingham Stallions. I want to see everyone there," Redman said in a news release Thursday. "Let’s pack out Lynn Family Stadium on Friday, March 27. It is going to be electric. Let’s show the UFL what we are all about. We will be ready!"
Among the players selected by the Kings in the expansion draft include former Louisville star Dez Fitzpatrick and former Kentucky stars Benny Snell and Lynn Bowden Jr.

The Kings are one of three new franchises introduced for the 2026 UFL season, alongside the Columbus Aviators and Orlando Storm, becoming the city's first professional football team in decades.
Each team will play five home games and five road games over a 10-week regular season. There are no conferences. Instead, all eight teams compete in a single league table, and the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs in late May. T
