LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Trinity High School came together Monday morning to celebrate a remarkable year in athletics, recognizing teams that won state championships in 2025.

Bowling, baseball, esports, lacrosse, outdoor track, and football all advanced to state competitions, showing the school’s strong athletic programs.

The 2025 football team won Trinity’s 30th state championship, a milestone that drew special attention.

Alumni from the 1st, 10th, and 20th championship football teams joined the celebration, connecting past champions with current student-athletes.

"The relationships they build with their brothers and the guys they're playing with that's going to remain through all the years," head football coach Jay Cobb said.
