Kentucky Derby 152 could end up being one of the coolest in about 3 decades. Clouds give way to some intervals of sun as the day wears on. Since we have more clouds than sun and showers evaporating overhead, temperatures should max out in the upper 50's. It's one of those days where it feels nice in the sun, but cool in the shade. Grab a jacket before heading to Churchill Downs or any parties around town. Thankfully, you won't get soaked by rain. A few of those showers may survive the trip down to the ground. Derby is all about playing the odds, so there's a 30% chance between 2 PM and 6 PM for a brief shower. That's also a 70% it won't rain, but having a poncho just in case is a wise move.
