Jefferson County Public Schools kicks off the first day of classes Aug. 9. With the new school year, there are several changes including staggered start/end times.
More than 60,000 Jefferson County Public Schools students will ride the bus when they go back to school Wednesday, Aug. 9.
Those exceptions are Central and Western high schools, which both have a 75% threshold of students on free or reduced lunch.
