LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.

Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Friday, Feb. 14 to Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025.

National Farm Machinery Show

North America's largest indoor farm show is back in Louisville this week. 

The 59th National Farm Machinery Show started Wednesday and goes through Saturday. Attendees can explore the newest equipment for every part of the agriculture industry. The show is free and open to the public. 

The Kentucky Exposition Center is using 1.2 million square feet for the event, which features more than 800 exhibitors showcasing brands including Case, John Deere, Kubota, New Holland and many more. According to Kentucky Venues, 95% of the exhibitors are returning from the prior year. Many attendees also tend to return, making this trip to the Bluegrass an annual event.

According to Kentucky Venues, the show is expected to generate $27.7 million for the state's economy.

The show anticipates 300,000 visitors during the four-day event. Hotels and restaurants are also expected to be busy from the crowds.

The show also includes a Gift & Craft Market, where visitors can shop retail vendors for items like clothing, toys, collectibles and more.

Championship Tractor Pull

Each evening during the National Farm Machinery Show, Freedom Hall will feature the Championship Tractor Pull event.

Nearly 200 drivers will compete in the nation's longest-running indoor tractor pull in front of fans in-person and on a live stream.

The show runs Feb. 12-15 and admission starts at $9.

“Kindle the Flame”

  • Friday, Feb. 14
  • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Vintage Fire Museum
  • 706 Spring Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana
  • $10 per person for non-members and $5 per person for members.

Enjoy a special event with your Valentine’s date at the Vintage Fire Museum. On Friday, February 14, couples will be served champagne for toasting each other, will be able to pose together for a photo taken on a vintage fire truck, will receive a package of Schimpff’s heart-shaped red hots, and can explore the Museum in a softly-lit, “romantic” atmosphere.

My Furry Valentine

  • Saturday, Feb. 15
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Jeffersonville Animal Shelter
  • 201 Willinger Lane, Jeffersonville, Indiana

Love is in the air at the Jeffersonville Animal Shelter for the My Furry Valentine Adoption event. There will be waived dog adoption fees for dogs 40 pounds and over. Families and friends are encouraged to participate in some heartwarming activities. This includes a doggie kissing booth, valentine making and crafts and a Valentine's Day photo setup. Kentucky Wedding Show (postponed)

  • Free admission for engaged couples, $10 for each guest
