LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The 43rd annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle run is coming to town this weekend.

The annual motorcycle ride is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30. It will start in the Pleasure Ridge Park area, off the Greenbelt Highway, and end at the Kentucky Expo Center.

The goal is to collect as many toys as possible for disadvantaged children this holiday season.

The event typically brings in 15,000-17,000 toys that will be given to children in six Kentuckiana counties.

"We'd love to have people come out and ride their bikes," said Dale Corum with the Kentucky Motorcycle Association. "It's going to be a little cool, but it looks like it's going to be dry so ... it's a short ride, I think most people can endure it and Santa Claus will be there so come on out."

Local law enforcement and local fire departments will be volunteering to help make the Christmas event even brighter for everyone.
