LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shovels dug deep into the ground Tuesday to initiate the start of building the 2024 St. Jude Dream Home.
The four-bedroom, two-and-a half bathroom Fischer home is located in the Summit Parks neighborhood in La Grange.
Fischer Homes representatives, contractors, and leaders from St. Jude Children's Hospital, broke ground on the site of the new home on Feb. 20.
The nearly 3,000 sq. ft. home will feature walk-in closets in all of the bedrooms, along with a spacious upstairs loft and a gourmet kitchen.
After a record year in ticket sales in 2023, a total of 8,000 tickets will be available beginning July 11 for $100 each. All proceeds go directly to St. Jude.
