LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is asking Kentuckians for help to meet the increasing demand of people needing a way to work.
The company's Last Mile to Work program donates bicycles to those in need and is in urgent need of donations. Goodwill is asking people to drop off unwanted or broken bikes to any of the 67 Kentuckiana Goodwill locations.
Through the Last Mile to Work program, participants are referred by a Goodwill career coach and are given a free bike, helmet, bike lock, safety vest and bicycle laws and safety brochures. The program partners with local agencies to collect and refurbish the donated bikes.
