Hiring underway for 2026 Kentucky State Fair

Positions include gate attendants, set-up crew, maintenance, guest services and more, starting at $13.50 an hour.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Hiring is underway for this year's Kentucky State Fair.

Positions include gate attendants, set-up crew, maintenance, guest services and more, starting at $13.50 an hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to stand for long periods of time both indoors and outdoors, and able to work around crowds. No experience is necessary.

In-person, walk-in interviews will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Applicants are asked to bring their Social Security card, a photo ID and bank account and routing numbers.

Those attending an interview are asked to enter through Gate 4, park in Lot K and enter the Broadbent Arena Employment Office.
