LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Families in need of school supplies can get everything they need this weekend thanks to a local attorney.
Darryl Isaacs is teaming up with Stock Yards Bank and Lynn Family Stadium for the 3rd annual Hammer's Great Backpack Giveaway.
This year, the event has been moved to Lynn Family Stadium where all the fun will kick off in the BlueOval SK Fan Zone on Saturday, August 2 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
They are giving away 3,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.
On top of the free backpacks, there will be bounce houses, games, adoptable dogs from the Kentucky Humane Society, free t-shirts, live music, and more!
Each backpack will also include 2 free tickets to the Louisville City FC vs. North Carolina FC match Saturday night.
Guests are asked to park in the Purple Lot, located off Adams Street on the northwest side of the stadium.
